I get lost in the textures - and wondering if you're using real ink, or if that's digigal... I'm suspecting ink and watercolour - and then I'm back, lost in the textures...
Keen eye Graham, it's an inkwash over which I overlayed a brick photo as well as the flames, I took those one weekend we spent camping and barbecuing (or as we call it "braaing")
I enjoy mixing inks, watercolours, photos and anything else I can get my hands on - it's all an elaborate ruse to keep you lost in the textures ;)
only..wow... I like this effect like the paper is burning too...

ReplyDeleteHas to be CGI. It says "digital" in the labels. Plus, to get those bricks the way they were done, you'd have to be a freak with water colors.
ReplyDeleteVery colorful. Reminds me of camping and smores for some sick reason. : ]
Wow! Those flames are fabulous Brice! Hope they have insurance or at least some hot dogs and sticks. :o)
ReplyDeleteThanks guys!
